The pinch pot I made is a small cylinder the has a flower in the front and little circles around it all around. The top is flat. The media I used was: the wire tools given, clay, slick, wooden spatula, my hands, and rolling pins. The new skill I learned during this project is; make sure you score on both sides other wise it doesn't stick and stay on! (: the mood I'm feeling is great because it fired good and now I get to paint it soon! pinch pot rubricART Ms. Heideman MSHS

I can slip and score and securely attach clay to clay so that it stays attached. I can create a unified sculptural form with a details of interest on all sides and the top of the project. I can design in three dimensions by using three dimensional details (not linear ones) these 3D forms will create designs with shadows and highlights. I can design and create a unified form where the surface design and all sculptural details will enhance the whole by reflecting or contrasting with the form. |
